I remember seeing an African tribe that carried a genetic birth defect (they were all born with lobster shaped feet). Does anyone know the name of this tribe.

The medical term Ectrodactyly (Lobster claw deformity or Cleft. hand/foot) can be found in any human race.  I don't know of any particular African tribe that carries this genetic birth defect.
