I'm 15 and this is my......16th poem?? around there
Lady Liliana is trapped on a bridge.
A bridge between glee and desolation.
To leave the bridge to one side it is forbid
Though the bridge is her own creation.
Someone has to discover and pursue her
to allow her to get out of this middle.
To who this someone is she’s unsure,
But the chance of someone coming is little.
There are too many others to amaze,
those who take far less effort to pursue.
As long as she’s alone, there she stays,
waiting forever for you.
Promises that one day it’ll happen,
Consume her thoughts and soul.
Those promises she's made within,
all she’s got left to keep her whole.
Used to exist on the side of glee,
until desolation slowly took charge.
She couldn’t find which side was she,
and built this bridge as an abandoned guard.
Hopes that will never fail,
Surround Liliana always.
She knows that one day it will prevail,
after waiting for these countless days.
Someone will come, she tells herself,
and take me away from this secluded bridge.
Then I can delightfully bid farewell,
To this prison which has kept me obliged.
She will wait, until the ends of time
And will never give up her wish.
Her hopes will remain sublime,
until she reaches that faraway bliss.
