This pregnancy is killing me?

This is my second pregnancy and I didn't have any vomiting at all, but I had sore hips really early on and now at 22 weeks I am like an old woman. I am waddling already and I feel like I have pulled all the muscles in my v****a or something, plus everything underneath my belly is hurting, sleeping is painful even with my body pillow (especially when I try to change positions in bed). I have trouble putting pants on and cannot lift my leg to get in the passenger side of a car. HELP!! What do I do? What is wrong with me? I don't think I ever felt this much pain in my first pregnancy with regards to muscles or whatever the h**l it is

  1. I know my pregnancies were all very different (more/less pain, nausea etc..) I would for sure talk to your doctor though, you need to make sure that it is just pregnancy pains and not something serious.  It's possible that the baby is sitting lower than your first one or something like that.

  2. I've had similar problems since around the same time, my baby has been sitting very very low since just after 20 weeks, and it pushed my pelvis out of alignment.

My hubby has to help me lift my legs to get into bed (I slide out of it), I always have to sit to put on pants, and walking has gotten very painful.  I hit a point too where the baby was sitting on a ureter and caused a backup of urine in my kidney that couldn't drain properly.

Since about week 33-34 if I roll over in bed I'll get a popping and grinding through the hips/pelvis accompanied by severe pain.  Unfortunately I've been told that the only thing that will help is delivery, he is just sitting badly.  The baby is 100% healthy and there's no permanent damage being done to me, but yes it's absolutely miserable in the meantime.

  3. I think u need to talk to ur dr about this hun..its ousnd a bit like the placenta might be lying low or something like tht causing u all this pain!!! im 22 weeks too and man i feel like an old lady but not having as much pain as you hun..this is not normal and i think u need to see a dr asap...you need to be confortable too...there might be something he/she can prescribe for pain etc and might be able to help in someway...

    hope this helps

  4. i still feel like an old woman post pregnancy! it just the drastic change your body is going through....every pregnancy is different.

  5. mine is going very much like that at the moment as well. The doctor I last saw said there is really nothing I can do at all. They did suggest Magnesium Citrate. I take BioActive's 300 mg twice a day in the morning and at night and it does help. Not a lot, but it makes a big enough difference that I get some sleep at night.

  6. i have the exact same feeling now.... but i am 35 weeks.

My doctor told me its totally normal, still, nothing it should last all the time....

he said i should use some voltaren for the area, but only if it is not going where the baby is. He also mentioned it was bad positioning of the baby and in my case, it can also be stretching so the baby can go "down" properly.

I feel your pain!!!.... and hope it goes away soon. Take some nice hot tea at night so it helps with the sleeping problem... im not sleeping as well.... so well, we just have to get used to it!....
