  1. Yes, at least enough to get a job and not be a burden on the welfare system.

  2. Well if they come from another country that has a poor economy they probably don't know English. I do feel immigrants should learn English once they get to America though.

  3. yes i do think that other people that come to the united states from other countries should have to speak english, because if english speaking americans moved to a spanish (or other language) speaking country, i can almost gaurentee you that they would not accomodate or language (like we do here for spanish), and you would have to learn spanish (or whatever language they speak in the country you moved too).

  4. they should so it would be easier for them to get a job and live out their dreams they have here in u.s.a.

The citezenship test is almost always in english, so it's a given that people emmigrating from other countries should learn our language.

86% of all immigrants of the U.S. are illegal, mostly because it costs money to take the citizenship test and its a very lengthy process, sometimes stretching to 2 or 3 years. So thats why you see so many immigrants speaking contrasting languages.

  6. As a Spanish speaking lady I would say: YES, this is an  English speaking country and we should learn the language...this Will open the doors and if we want to succeed here we need to speak the language. I have no intention to hurt anybody; my Language is beautiful... but here definitely we need to speak English. Saludos a todas las personas que hablan Espanol...I LOVE YOU ALL.
