  1. Go to "Boaters world.com" but, be prepared to pay the price.

  2. If it truly is a ship,  we had regular commercial kitchen equipment on the ships I served on. We had both gas and electric depending on the ship.  Looked much like a restaurant kitchen, which I guess it was for the 26 guys on board.

  3. For plates and bowls look at melamine they look good and are hard to break, most god boat shops have un-breakable glasses and mugs and probably also the plates. For saucepans you will need stainless steel so it does not rust most good kitchen suppliers should have these or maybe even some good boat stores, knives and forks stainless steel if you can get them as they do not rust otherwise just get normal ones but they will not last as long as they do in your home, the same goes for saucepans. ceramic plates and mugs are fine you just have to be very carefully how they are stores as they can break. everything else is the same as what you have in your home all of our stuff just came from the boat shop and a good kitchen supplier. Our kettle is a camping shistle one we use on the gas stove unless you have a good generator you may be able to use a normal electric one.

  4. Depends what the voltage is Ships have 3 phase 440 volt electrical>Boats have 120 volt or 220 volt>Sail boats Propane >They use Stainless Steel as it last longer rust> Look on line under marine appliances>

  5. All ocean going ships use electric hotplate for cooking. some small boats may still use gas.

If you are living within a seaport vicinity, you can look up a ship chandler to supply just about anything you want. But of course they will mark up their price.

The utensils are basically the same, just that instead of glass or plastic, they tend to use more stainless steel.
