  1. I'm from Zimbabwe and we used to drink Tanganda Tea or 5 Roses! we usually have it with biscuits  or cakes! When i was a kid we used to dunk our toast or biscuits in it!

I now live in Australia and drink a lot of tea from the Mighty Leaf, its a company that is Eco friendly and the tea bag and everything  is biodegradable and the tea is made in an Eco friendly way I'm pretty sure it comes from India. They do a whole range from Early Grey To Chai and a nice range of herbal/green teas!

  2. I'm from India and we have wide varieties of tea,the best I've tasted yet the tea from Darjeeling.Like we prepare our tea the normal way,but we also add black pepper which is ground, and ginger.we have cake, biscuits along with it.

  3. I'm from Quebec and there's nothing special about our tea.  We import specialty, herbal or regular teas (Brand names like Tetley, Red Rose or Salada) and get them from the grocery or health food stores.

Tea is served anytime of day, especially when company is over (I drink it all day -- by myself, lol).    It's offered "coffee or tea?"  It's made by single cup with the tea bag, the loose tea in the ball or steeped in a coffee pot then transferred to a tea pot or carafe.  Some people put sweetener & milk, or one or the other, some drink it "black", even though tea can be many colors.  A lot depends on the type of tea it is and how it was prepared.

We serve it with Arrowroot Biscuits, Peak Freans, cake, bars or with just good conversation.

  4. I live in Singapore. We get loads of different kinds of tea.  The Chinese prepare the tea in a very small pot, with just a spoonful of leaves/buds and you just have a small cup (almost like a child's tea set!).  Then you simply boil the kettle again and refil the pot when you run out.  You keep the same tea in the pot for hours, and it just gets a bit weaker every time.  It's quite a good way to drink tea I think.

I went up to Malaysia to the tea plantations up there.  If you've never been to a tea plantation and get the chance, do go, it's interesting (especially if you like your tea!)
