What is the direction of flow of heat when two objects at a higher temperature and lower temperature are contacted?

  1. Heat always transfers from a higher temperature to a lower temperature.  It's the definition of Heat Transfer.  You will never find a subject called "Coldness Transfer."  The same works for pressures, too.


  2. Higher to lower, to equalize the temperature in the two objects.

  4. There is no such thing as 'heat'

    Heat transfer is the transferring of energy between two bodies of differing temperature. The direction is from the high temperature to the low.

    because heat is a form of energy, it seeks an equilibrium.
