IF Obama actually agrees with Rev.Wright's hate speech, will you still support him? Remember, I said IF.

Remember, the question is about you, NOT about Obama. What is your attitude in my hypothetical situation?

  1. Obama knew nothing about Rev.Wright's hate speech. Obama attended Rev.Wright's church for twenty years had him baptize his children and called him his mentor without ever having heard Rev.Wright express his profound hatred of White America.

That's right even though Rev.Wright presided at Obama's wedding and was with him when he announced his candidate Obama had no idea he is a racist.

Yes the good Rev has been preaching God d**n America from the pulpit for two decades with Obama in attendance. But Barry just happened to attend on the days when Rev.Wright had been heavily medicated and was low on hate.

  2. Why IF?  I do agree with Reverend Wright.  He's an old friend, he's my mentor.  I went to his church for two decades before denouncing it for political reasons.

  3. Have you seen any of the quotes from Palin's pastor????

People that critisize Bush are going to h**l. Stuff like that. Just as fanatical.

  4. I don't understand the hypothetical, Obama already separated himself from Reverend Wright even though the term "hate speech" is a quite inaccurate description of the sermons (I disgree with Wright's statements, but they were not "hate speech").

Would you support John McCain if he made jokes about women being raped and called his wife an unpleasant name for female anatomy?  Because here's the funny thing... McCAIN DID JUST THAT!!!

  5. Oh my.  You know that the Obama supporters can not make an intelligent response.  They will either ignore this or spout something totally off the wall.

  6. Nice try. We still remember the hypocracy with the teen pregnancy and the dui and the twit McCain picked as his VP.

  7. I agree with Wright.  His words were twisted and you did not take the time to find out for yourself

  8. Considering I have listened to Rev wrights speechs in their entirety and they are not hate speechs yes I would vote for obama.

  9. Think what you want, buddy .. but OPEN YOUR EYES ! Obama hasn't done anything wrong ..

  10. do you mean the clips of the sermons publicized by the news or the actual sermons in complete context?

    I have listened to both.

To the clips as shown by the news then I have to say of course not. The words alone without support of an argument are hateful.

To the actual sermons in context I would have to say I still wouldn't. I don't entirely agree with what Wright said and I don't think biblical argument has a place in national politics so No I couldn't support him all things considered if he claimed agreement with the sermons.

Even in context, the sermons were very harsh.  They were not entirely untrue but also not entirely accurate.  But Wright as a minister supported his argument with the bible and as a veteran had a right to his view.  Obama as a candidate for president must take a larger view which is why I couldn't support him if he did claim the sermons were truth.

  11. First, please clarify why you term it "hate speech"?

Do you really think some African-Americans don't believe that?  That they are not truly angry and frustrated at the socially-unjust economic heirarchy we have now?

To answer: no, I do't care if he believes it, as I know he will do what is best for all people, not just the affluent.

Remember, one cannot change the situation if one does not know the root cause...

  12. If you believe Obama knew nothing of the hate speech, then you are brain washed and far too gone for help.

Don't worry, we'll get this answered on Thursday when Obama is on Bill O'Reilly.

  13. If I was rich, If the world was flat, If elephants could fly, If the white house was called the Blue House, If, If, If, If, if, he said he didn't agree so If he said he didn't will you support him. Remember the question is about you, Not Obama. Your attitude is hypothetical in this situation. But hey look at the bright side he didn't agree with that hate speech, so yes I will support him. And further more, I didn't agree with it either.

  14. This so too lame. This is old. This is so far in the past it's like week old garbage.

    PLEASE can we move on.

  15. f you Dont vote for JOHN MCCAIN you must HATE your country......

    blah blah blah

Educated RN - fear tactics wont work for this Hillary Supporter

  16. At what point will we know whether Obama agrees with the Rev. We will never really know, we can only assume what a person thinks. We can however look at a factual voting record on tax increase votes while a member of the Senate.

  17. No. But Obama has already denied Wright's hate speech.

Now a question for McCain supporters: If Palin actually tried to ban books from the public library of the town where she was mayor, can you trust her to uphold the constitution?

  18. You should watch the entire, real speech.

  19. yes because we have all had thought of how the USA sucks from time to time because we are mad about taxes, potholes in our roads, pork in our legislative bills, and on and on into infinity.

and we have all been associated with the ****** friend that we are embarrassed about.
