To reduce the crime rate would gassing the prisons once every five years be a good idea?

They may be criminals but killing them doesn't solve anything! That's a STUPID idea! You shouldn't kill people, no matter what they've done. Some of those prisoners are falsely accused and shouldn't be in there, is it fair to kill them to because they're in prison? Other prisoners probably aren't in for murder but something else, is it fair to kill them because they are with murderers?

Nothing can justify killing a human being. Yes, they have killed others but killing them is just bringing ourselves down to their level. The point of prison is for them to spend the rest of their lives thinking about what they did and living the rest of their days in guilt. Killing them would be letting them have the easy way out.
