How long did it take you to get your passport...like exactly how long ? Mine said 2 weeks but I am hoping it is sooner since I kinda need it sooner.

I just recently applied for one, however mine was just a renewal. It took exactly one week for it to arrive by mail, and I just got regular standard service.

If you can find a passport office that does the printing there you can get it done in a week.

There's 3 different wait times, depending on the money you spend.

1.) You can wait for your passport just like most people do if your vacation is far off. Right now is kind of a slow period for processing passports so your wait won't be too long. Extra cost: None

2.) The option you should have chose because your vacation is sooner rather than later - your passport application is not sent away from the office that received it. They do it right there and don't send it away for reviewal like the other ones. You get it back within around 5 working days and instead of them mailing it to you, you pick it up. This option is available only if you are within a travel distance of the passport office, otherwise, you're out of luck.

Extra cost: around $10 if I remember correctly (I chose this option)

3.) Emergency passport - can be done within 24-48 hours but I believe you need a clear emergency to do this. I don't know about booking an all inclusive last minute and getting a passport this way ;) but it's worth a try for some I guess

Extra cost: around $75.00 (I'll actually have to check the site for exact costs which I might do later)

Hope you get yours in time. My boyfriend at the time of travel didn't pay anything extra AND it was a busy time for passports and he got his within 2 weeks. I'm sure you will too!

If it's an emergency, they will renew it 24 to 48 hours.  But if it isn't, you will have to wait 2 to 3 weeks like everyone else.

I'm pretty sure it took mine at least 3 weeks. It'll be pretty hard to get it in less than two weeks anywhere but still try

I went to the Passeport office and it took two weeks but I already had a passeport and was just renewing it.

You could have paid the extra $10 dollars to go pick it up and get it sooner.
