  1. well $30 for that is OUTSTANDING! the board and bindings are good if in mint condition.. the person may just want to get rid of it so i'm not sure. if there is something wrong you might be able to repair it and still have payed less then gettin it new.

so i would buy it and hope for the best!

    best answer please?

  2. If you're a beginner it's a deal.  If the edges aren't coming off and there is no major damage to the base go for it, it'll be fine to build skills on.

  3. probably not for $30

  4. Honestly, for $30 it doesnt matter if its any good. Chances are, the board is on its last legs, the boots wont be very comfortable, and the bindings may be worn but... for $30... who cares. Even if you just use it to bash on rails as you learn, you'll never get the fealing of absolute horror as your $1200 deck "catches" while you're buttering a box...

As for the quality of the board, etc... They're all middle of the road to lower end. Nothing special.. but again, $30.... might as well.

I always look for deals at the end of the season just so I've got a stick I dont care about loaning out or s******g up, I actually just picked up a '56 2007 Idiom for $60... and I usually ride about a '61 but, for $60, s***w it... I'll find some rails somewhere I can rip up the base on... Or I'll I just bring a noob with me sometime and let him destroy it, lol.

  5. The fact that you have to ask tells me a lot... you must be new to the sport.  If this really is the case then by all means buy it immediately... it's only $30!!!!  Beginner equipment tends to be on the cheap side anyways.  Use this gear and practice like h**l and for god-sakes take some lessons.  Then and only then upgrade your gear.  Who knows you may not even like snowboarding (I'm not really sure how this will be possible as it is the greatest sport in the world!) plus I hate people with thousands of dollars in gear and can't even get off the lift.  If you are still unsure then have a friend who shreds look at it and he?she can tell you if it's worth it or not.  Just make sure it isn't falling apart... if it's broken then you could hurt yourself or others.  Good luck and enjoy!

  6. who cares if its good its 30 and works even if it sucks you can always use if for ridin rails and messin around.

  7. Ha ha! Forgive me, but for $30 there isn't a board, boot, or binding on earth I'd trust (much less all of them together!). That's like someone selling a car for $100. Don't expect great things...

Any good board will be $140 minimum.

Any good set of bindings will be at least $100.

And any good set of boots will be $80+.

On the upside. ANY set of boots, board, and bindings being sold for $30 is cheap. If they work AT ALL, then they were a steal (even if they are completely c**p). So if you don't mind using a "far less than superior" board and bindings, then go for it. Just don't be suprised if it falls apart, cracks, or breaks in one or two runs.
