Which wild animals are normally found in Vermont? Are there any bears? If so, what kind and in which areas are they usually found?

  2. I'm not from VT, but just over the boarder in Northern New York... pretty much the same thing...

    Yes there are bears, black bears. They love beech nuts, so they are often founds in stands of beech trees... and oak if there are any... And dumps and landfills unfortunately.

    There are also many:

    Beaver

    Porcupine

    Deer

    Moose (on the rise)

    Fox

    Coyote

    Bobcats

    and many many more.

  3. Black bears are common in the area - throughout the state even in the city, especially for those who leave bird feeders and suet out in the winter.
