Question

If an employee has 8 weeks of maternity leave and she told her boss that she would be back at the end of her leave, but, she has no intention of going back to work------is that unethical? I am self employed and I do not have any employees, but, if I did, this would really tick me off. How do other people feel about this situation?

people change their minds all the time.  Once a person has a baby,  they could change their mind.

It is a;; part of being an employer.  With everything that happens to an employer,  that is very tiny issue.
