  1. Kinda half and half. I'm surprised that the Yankee Staff, got to pull it off.

  2. I'm not mad at all.

If anything, I'm jealous of the trades the Yankees have pulled off. You've enhanced your team more than anyone else in our division, and I think a 4 game series with the Angels will really test you.  I'm not mad at all with the Red Sox, I'm just frustrated that everything is falling apart mid-season. We no longer have the Yankees 7 games back and out of the picture, we no longer have Okajima with a 1.5 ERA, and recently our starters have blown up mid-game. We just got swept at home by the Angels and lost 2 of 3 from the Yankees at home, and we used to be amazing at home.  I'm not pissed, I just wish that we could pull off this Manny trade and end up with Jason Bay. He may not be the player that Manny is but he certainly is a good hitter and he definitely would give the club everything he's got.  It sucks that we finally get Ortiz back and now we may lose Manny. If we don't lose Manny, this nonsense may keep bringing the team down until we can't even snag the wild card, and a season without the playoffs would be very disappointing after the way we've played the entire first half. Even guys like Pedroia have stepped up their game, but other guys like Ellsbury are slumping. If Ellsbury can't get on, who can Pedroia knock in? I'm also frustrated with the fact that we're leaving guys on base left and right. We've certainly lost the clutch hitting vibe that we had last year. So no, I'm not mad with anything, I'm just disappointed that the Sox may be falling apart, and I envy the fact that the Angels and the Yankees have stepped their teams up to a whole new level this week. We need this Bay/Grabow trade from the Pirates in order to get a good hitter and another bullpen guy. Hansen and Delcarmen were fantastic for a while in May and June and now their back to their half-decent pitching. Soo... yeah.. best answer for me? lol

Edit: People say that trading Manny is also trading our chance at the playoffs. I think it's time to let him go. He's picking fights with our management and what used to be Manny being Manny is now getting ridiculous. As much as I love his bat, he may slowly be ruining our team's chemistry- and if you look at our starting line-up from 2004, you'll clearly notice that our chemistry was everything, since our players we not all All-Star material.  The only thing this Manny nonsense is doing is bringing our team down. He got 2 rings for us, and as much as I hate to say it, I think his time is done.

  3. Yeah they did get some good players for almost nothing but its still a long road to the playoffs. Although if Manny is traded, and he probably will, that makes it easier for the Yankees to win the wild card.

  4. im a red sox fan and i have to say that they would be giving up on the season and there future if they trade manny away

they will get no one for him

i hate the yankees but there front office is smart
