To answer this question you have seen the phantom of the opera so ya. So as you might know, christine didn't go with the phantom, instead she went with raoul. Why? Why wouldn't she stay with him? And what would have happened if she did? I know this is a weird question but im curious.

  1. She realized the phantom was a sick man who only loved her for her beauty and her abilities to sing his music, it was only after she showed the phantom true devotion by wanting to stay after letting Raul go that he let her leave.

  2. She didn't love the phantom; she had to go with the one she really loved.  The weird part is that in the book, the phantom dies.

  3. Because she loved Raoul. He was her childhood sweetheart. And Erik was just a teacher. She did love him, but not like she loved Raoul. He was a psycopath, even though I like the Phantom better, you can't deny he had anger problems. Good intentions, bad methods.

  4. The phantom, though considered a genius, had a harsh childhood, and thus, had so much hatred in his heart. Raoul has only sincere intentions for Christine. She may have been the phantom's protege, but his desire for Christine is obviously selfish.

  5. Because the phantom is a puke.  And by puke I mean murderer.

  6. She didn't love the phantom like she loved Raoul, or at least it wasn't the same kind...you see what she had with the phantom wasn't love, it was lust.

What she had with Raoul was love, the purest. So she had to go with Raoul in the end.

If she would have stayed with the phantom I believe she wouldn't have been as happy, I think either situation she might have secretly wondered and asked herself what would it have been like to be with the other.

It's not that weird a question. Hope this helped!
