If an MP3 player was shipped on June 25th from Massillion, Ohio (US) to Toronto, Ontario (Canada) through First Class Mail International USPS, is it possible that the does not arrive until July 7th? It has been 13 days (9 working days).

Did the person even ship it or it is normal for something to take that long?

By the way, the item shipped from Hong Kong on the same date arrived 5 days ago...

First Class Mail International is the lowest cost internation shipping method through the USPS, so they don't give you a tracking number with that.

If I were to wait, what's the longest I should wait?

  1. That is totally possible. I ordered a movie and they said 4 to 6 weeks.

  2. There are things that cause problems such as very destructive weather at or between shipping points. Weather can close plants and or stop ground and air shipments for days.

Then there is human error. Anytime you have an item changing multiple hands through multiple shipping areas, Someone will either s***w up, or a new guy will be filling in while the full time guy is out sick, or sipping a martini in Hawaii.

  3. Hopefully you got a tracking number, if you did you can look it up online if it is through UPS or FEDEX. If not, call up the Post Office.
