A friend of mine, I'll call her "A", didn't speak to me at all during the summer. She's also started saying extremely rude (and untrue) things about me to my very close friend, all behind my back. Of course, my close friend called me out on it and asked me about it. Anyway, this has been going on about 3 weeks now.
She never seems to leave me alone, and it's really bothering me. For some reason, she wants to get between me and whatever makes me happy.
She always asks me for things. Last week, it was like a small stamp for a letter. In the past 3 days, she has called me SEVEN times, trying to get me to help her write some letter. (I finally answered after I was sick of my phone ringing).
If I avoid her, she finds a way to bother me. If I eat with a friend during lunch, she sticks herself right between me and my friend. I can't get to leave me alone. I can't just blow up at her face, because I would appear to be a bad person in front of the entire student body.
She can twist a story and make it anything she wants. Sadly, everyone would believe her because she is so popular (and manipulative), and I'm not. So, if she says something devastating about me, I would have no friends. (I only have like 3 friends to begin with, because I am a nerd..but still, everyone knows who I am.)
Luckily, she's moving for good in about 4 months. But four months feels like forever! (And I only have her in one class).
Can I get some advice on how to tame this wild girl? (haha). I don't know what to do. I can't get rid of her, and if I can, I don't know how to tell her without her blabbing slander about me!
Thank you for your help, I would really appreciate it!
