This seems wrong on all kinds of levels!?

Question

I was getting ready to watch one of my favorite shows tonight and all of a sudden the fire alarm went off in the dorms. Obviously this was one of the fire drills that they told us about, but about 5 minutes later everyone learned that it was a "fake" fire drill, the RAs were actually doing room checks. My room was clean and everything but I still think it was wrong, it would have been better planned if they would have told us they were actually going to do room checks instead of making some believe it was an actual fire... some people were in the showers!? What do you think?
