So here's what's up. I have a job as a cashier. i've been at it 3 weeks and get it really well. it's not too hard, but boring as heck just standing there all day. and it's usually long hours. anyway i just got another job which i start next week as a waitress. this waitress job was actually my FIRST choice and seems way better as well as way nicer ppl. anyway i also have some college orientation stuff i hafta do next week. my cashier job boss is being a jerk and not at all flexible with it. i told him when i started that i needed these days off and he's saying it's gonna be a problem. also in fall, like 2 weeks, when college starts i have a work study job lined up if i want it. SO should i dump the cashier job since he's so mean and not flexible and stick with the waitress job cause they're so much nicer and understanding of my school schedule. and then also take the work study job?! i need a job for sure. and i dont wanna hafta stress about getting the days off i need for family and school obligations?! i'm stressed and mad right now and idk what to tell my boss tomorrow cause i NEED some days/hours off next week for school and my other job and he has me 9-5 all week. im 18 btw. thanks!

  1. Tell your current boss that you are going to have to quit because you are starting college and you need a flexible job.  Work as a waitress and do whatever you can so your life is less stressful with college and all.

  2. take the job you'd be happier with because you don't need the stress when school starts.
