My 94 camry needs:

brake hoses (all of them)

Calibers (both)

Pads

Rotors

and labor

and my mechanic told me 500 dollars

  1. $500 for parts and labor?

    Yeah, that sounds fair.

    I do my own work usually, that job is a fair amount of labor. And those parts add up quick.

I won't comment on the price but if a car that is 14 years old and all the lines are bad how much rust does it have? this is something you need to know is the car really worth that there are now a lot of car on the market that came out of Louisiana after hurricane Katrina these cars will have a lot of problems rust and electrical problems among them

    It's another question altogether, whether you need all those parts to begin with.

  5. $500.00 is cheap for all that work, rotors and calipers aren't cheap.

    I would question why you need calipers, major repair kits are available.

  6. yes but im not sure why you need new brake hoses and calipers unless its really worn or rusted down there but 500 sounds like a good deal
