it has like black and red colors

but i didnt color it in

It's called a nautical star, or a punk start.

Try using complementary colours, like black and white, red and green, blue and orange, purple and yellow. or black and any other colour really. But my suggestion is if you are trying to be orignal don't do that star. But if you like it, go ahead

its a nautical star, sailors used to have it tattooed to help guide them home, its usually a symbol of needing guidance. i have one in blue and purple in honor of my grandfather who was a salior and had one too

it's a nautical star, sort of.

if you get that make sure the artists re draws it in to a better design.

it has the makings of a nice design.

you can try green and white,

yellow and blue

blue and red

grey and orange

pink and green

silver and anything

gold and anything

i like them a lot just not for a tattoo.

i can honestly say i know at least 10 people with them.

i wouldn't get that just because there is no originality what so ever about them.

but if it means something to you go for it.

i like pink and black.

Usually they are plain black and white (skintone) or black and red. They aren't particularly original, but they are old school and I vastly prefer them to regular star tattoos. Personally, I like nautical stars. They were favorites of sailors in the early days of American tattooing - very Sailor Jerry. It's certainly not a new design, but it's a classic. You could get it in any colors you like. Black and light blue/teal would be pretty.

Personally, I prefer those stars in two shades of the same colour e.g purple and a paler mauve, red and pink, deepn blue and turquoise etc.

it's a nautical star. It's not particularly original but try any colors you like that go together well.

I think thats a really bad drawing of a nautical star (see links for pic).  I would say don't get it.  So many people get that kind of tat that its passe, just like tramp stamps and tribal.

Think of something original that actually has a meaning to you.

i think it called the "classic punk star" or the "nautical star"  i used to draw them all the time in highschool.

i would do maybe like a blue and yellow or even a neon pink and bright green maybe. w/e colors you like

So much for 'being original', stars are currently the most *common* tattoos people are getting.  Nothing original about them, sorry.
