  1. yeah... there are lots of university that offers summer class like sports, arts and crafts and livelihood program... just check the nearest university in the area that you will be staying and inquire how much it will cost you and you will be having a nice summer time in london

  2. there's Floodlight which lists all sorts of courses in London

    www.floodlight.co.uk/

    and Time Out

    www.timeout.com/

which has lots of different things to do, from shows to cultural events

there's loads of things like yoga, pottery, keep fit classes etc ... you'll probably find the local newspaper for where you're living or the notice board in your local library the best place to look

which London Borough will you be living in? check the local authority website and see what information they've got ... the local authority website will be something like

    www.islington.gov.uk/

www.rbkc.gov.uk/ (Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea)

or maybe you should make a list of all the different museums and work your way round them all ... that will take you a fair while !!

e.g.  Science, Natural History, War, London, Geffrye, British, National Portrait, Childhood, Victoria and Albert, Tate, Tate Modern, Pollocks Toy, and many many more

  3. Well just sight seeing wise. All the basics are a must. Tower Bridge(most think its called london bridge). Big Ben. Westminster Abbey. London Eye (the view is amazing). Harrods (like a giant mall)is HUGE! Trafalgar Square. Buckingham Palace (changing of the guard really isnt worth the wait) Shakespeare's Globe theatre. But mostly just take time to walk around and enjoy the city.

London is the most amazing city that I have ever been to. I fell in love with it the second I got off the plane. Some londoners may seem like they are brash and rude. But its just because their guard is up, one you sit and have a chat they are truly wonderful. Enjoy your trip!!! :)
