  1. Make the deal, hopefully this deal helps out your team. Dice-K is a smart and competitive strikeout pitcher, he owns fluid mechanics and a wide arsenal--including a plus fastball, curve, slurve, forkball and a 'gyro ball'. Uggla is a middle infielder with impressive power, he does most of his damage against righties. Has a knack for driving in runs. Can go on long hot streaks. Lackey leaves breaking stuff out over the plate often gets him burned. Is at times too much around the plate, making him occasionally vulnerable to free swingers. Upton's defensive flaws have been alleviated with a move to the outfield. At the plate, he strikes out a ton and needs to make more consistent contact. You have a great team, I don't get why your team is doing poorly, you should be right around 2nd place or even 1st place. You have the offense, your starting pitching is great and your bullpen has some great names in there. One advice take Grienke out of the rotation and see how that works out for you.

  2. Do it Lackey is wearing out know he sucks know and Uggla is heating up will knock lots of long balls out of the park while Dice-K is an amazing pitcher and way better than Lackey and Upton has a low avg. and no power at all do the trade u will win this trade easily

  3. What you need to be asking yourself if whether or not this is a trade that best suits you.  The opinions of the people you are asking are irrelevant because on paper you seem to have a decent if not solid team.  Usually the idea behind a trade is to acquire strength to upgrade a glaring weakness in your team.  So if you need offense and the person you're trading with needs pitching....then it seems to be a good trade.

  4. Do it fair trade for both sides

  5. I disagree with the first answerer, Lackey isn't wearing out. He missed the 1st month+ with injury so if anything he's fresher than most SP. Plus he almost threw a no hitter against Boston this past week. If this is a keeper league I'd consider that deal simply because Upton will lose eligibility at 2B. But that depends if you can keep 2 2B because you have Kinsler as well.

If not I definitely wouldn't take that trade. btw, good thing Wood is coming off the DL, Street looks to have lost the closers job in Oak.
