This type of atmospheric pressure (cyclone) is due to the temperature caused by intensive heating of the earth's surface. They remain stationary over the area that produces them, their cyclonic circulation is generally weak and shallow, and they are non-frontal. What is this type of low pressure called?

 1. Sounds like you are referring to a "thermal low", or sometimes called a "heat low". They are fairly common in the summertime over the desert southwest of the U.S.

 2. Is this a question from a homework assignment? The question is contradictory, because a cyclone is a high pressure system and an anticyclone is a low pressure system. In this question, we have "cyclone" and "low pressure system". My best guess to the answer would have to be "anomalous low". Anomalous lows are caused by a different arrangement of forces than normal lows, and circulate like high pressure systems.
