This veil is $1000!!! Where can I find one like this much much cheaper? :(

I want a Chantilly mantilla veil. Where can I find them for a good price?

This thing is $1000!!!! Or is there a way of making this? How do I get the edges done if I buy the lace?

You just need to look around for the best price. But Chantilly lace is very expensive no matter what. If you live in the Los Angeles area there are plenty of places that will make something similar for a lot less. I read an article that said tulle with lace edges can be used, and it looks similar. Another option is to look at other laces, buy the materials yourself and find a reputable seamstress to make it for you.

Chantilly lace is expensive. There's no real way around that. You may wish to pick a non-handmade fabric if you want it cheaper. And I'm not positive, but I suspect that the veil is made as a veil in one piece, so there would be no way to buy the lace and turn it into a veil.

There are other kinds of lace available, many of them machine-made. You can have a veil made out of machine-made lace, or you can have handmade edging on the veil. Or you can pay for the expensive ones.

It's totally worth $1,000.  You could probably find chantilly lace and sew it onto veiling.

Wow, that's 1/4 of my budget! Although it is nice. It's very 1920s. Very elegant!

I would assume the wedding dress people also sell veils, but one like this is probably much harded to find. Have you tried asking the sales assistants in the bridal stores?

This is very pretty, but way too costly!  Anywho, I would check with whoever is doing your alterations, sometimes they can make veils, just bring in a picture and tell them you want something like that, you could even bring in the lace that you want.  More than likely, the reason that veil is so expensive is because of the fabric they used, but you can get them made for maybe a couple hundred dollars, maybe even cheaper.  Check around and find the best deal!  Good Luck! :)

to be honest that veil is very pretty but if you have someone that can sew go to the fabric store and have them make it, it will be cheaper and very easy to do. plus you will be able to choose the veil materail that you like and not other cheap looking ones.

I just went on eBay and found about 50 mantilla veils at great prices.
