Al-Queda was weaker than we thought they were. They have lost almost all support from the citizens and we have killed so many of the terrorists that they probably don't have many new recruits. Should we take a large number of those troops and put them in Afghanistan and win that one too?

  1. We have another country to take care of. Strategically speaking that country is right in the center of the 2 we are dealing with now. It won't be over until the Iranians stop threatening Israel.

  2. The war will not be over in Iraq, until the oil pipelines are operated by American oil companies - the year in which we leave, will be the year a replacement fuel source is found instead of oil. This just happens to be a sad fact of life.

Your are correct about Afghanistan- we must win that one and never let the Taliban rule again. They must be dealt with so severely, that no other nation will ever allow them to be on their soil plotting against the US ever again. We need to show no mercy in this war. We should cut off the areas of Pakistan that the Pakistani government has no control over and wipe them off the face of the earth, for their part in supporting the Taliban.

  3. We will keep troops in Iraq for decades, the same as Germany and Japan..........

  4. well gorge bush (who makes war and i hate him)is the one who made this war im worried if we win the war in like 5 years time iraq could make a nuculer bomb and destroy americia and could be a world war 3 this war will be expected to end in 2015 so as the years go by we keep and moving the more we kill the less of iraq troops poplation and when we kill more and more they will have none left if we put alot of troops in now they would not survive so the more they move the more they kill and if USA soldier gets injured we put in a replacement so in the future the war will end.

  5. We should keep watch over both fronts.

Think of our soldiers and the use of their expertise - not to chase "fires" but to put them out.

  6. Yeah most of our troops will probably go to Afghanistan, though some will stay in Iraq, about 30,000 to 20,000 because the War On Terror is still going on.

  7. Never, atleast not anytime soon. its a war on "terrorism" , its meant to be sustained, you cant "win" .... just my thought on it.

  8. Nothing is over.

  9. 2006!! WOO HOO!...uh oh...too late....
