  1. I fail to see why a group would want to spend a lot of money to make a fly-over at the Olympics. I would be impressive to maybe  a quarter-million people for 10 seconds. It would cost millions and millions.

    Keeping the ones that are on static displays is fine, but they are not flyable, and won't ever be again without spending HUGE amounts of money-maybe $50-500 million.

  2. The Concordes are on static display in various locations, and the cores of their engines have been removed and the components recycled, so there is no practical way to restore one to flying condition.  They will not fly again.  Sorry.

  3. Actually it may be possible there is one in france that is in flyable condition that claims it will be ready in 2010
