  1. Trinity Sunday in Lumbier - 22 May every year

The small town of Lumbier in the region of Navarra celebrates the Sunday of the Holy Trinity with a penitential pilgrimage. Barefoot penitents, dressed in monks' habits and masks, carry heavy wooden crosses to the local town sanctuary.

Running of the Nudes - 5 July each year

A humane alternative, and a protest, to the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, the Running of the Nudes takes place in the city just before the first bull runs.

Fiesta de San Fermin 6 - 14 July each year

The Fiesta de San Fermín honours Pamplona's patron saint. Parades, dancing, music, fireworks, bullfights and drumming take over the streets and the city doesn't return to its former sober self for some eight or nine days.
