This year so far? How would describe it?

Me, personally, think this year has been very boring. I mean when I fall asleep watching a race in mid afternoon, it is pretty sad. There may have been maybe 2 races this year that have had something to watch for.

strange, kooky,fun, disappointing in the new car, boring has crept in there a time or three, but I am a fan and I stay tuned, that is how we get to those good moments like last week

Not exactly the best NASCAR season ever, but as a loyal fan, you take the good with the bad.  This hasn't been the worst ever either, but I agree, boring at times.  A little disappointing that it has been the Kyle Busch show most of the time, and the rest of the time the Carl Edwards show.  I would rather see many different winners without massive domination.  The COT has made it interesting, and has made it a lot safer too.  I am hoping next year will be more exciting.  I guess we just have to wait and see....

The races have been a little boring, but it's starting to get good. Edwards and Busch are starting to run at the same level and got one heck of a rivalry brewing. The chase looks like it's going to be interesting.

So far I think it's been a great year.  But then as a Rowdy fan I would.

Only a couple of races have been snooze-able to me. Can't remember which because i was probably napping....

Yet I am looking forward to the chase and the ending to be truthful.  I put A LOT aside all racing season and then scramble to get it all done before Christmas.  LOL

i'm going to assume you are talking about this year in NASCAR...i'm a bit tired of the kyle and carl show, daytona 500 was great, indy was tire-ibble, coke 600 was great until tony blew a tire, and i'm really looking forward to the 2009 season....

it been a pretty good year. first full year with the COT it back to drive still. the chase is close. we had pretty good side by side racing. a little boring at times but watch every min never know whats going to happen.and it has been the busch and edwards show, but i think its better the gordon and johnson from last year. and now i think it is getting go. can't wait till sunday. i think next year will be real good.

Personally: this year has been a roller coaster of emotions!!! Going for the wrong kind of guys, and getting my heart broken.  Now things are much better... I've learned to go for the personality versus the looks and pretty boys.  Now I have a great boyfriend and couldn't be happier

Professionally: this year is GREAT!! I got a great job. this year is much better than last year =)

Turn on the race, and instead of watching the #88 go round and round, watch the #18 car without trying to hate him.

Suddenly the races will become a lot more exciting that way.

If you don't believe me, do it. If you are an 88 fan that's why the races are boring, he never does anything to get excited about. Even his "win" was under caution.

The 18 car will leave you gasping at almost every pass he makes because it's scary to watch.

Racing is racing.  It’s all nascar no matter what happens it beats all other auto sports for me.  I guess I am a true fan.  I will always love it, no matter what. I have enjoyed this nascar season as I have enjoyed all others before it.

Honestly, I don't think it's been anything to get excited about. At least with Carl winning the past few weeks it has broken up the monotony of watching baby Busch in VL. But, all of the off-track, silly season stuff has really overshadowed what's happened on the track. The media tend to blow everything out of proportion and you end up seeing and hearing the same stories over and over and over again.

I feel sorry for so many of the teams and drivers with what they've had to put up with. I don't see it getting any better in the near future. Until racing goes back to being about racing, rather than $$$ and doing whatever the France family and Bruton Smith want, it will continue to go downhill.

I'm much happier going to watch the Trucks, Camping World East and Whelen Modified series, as there isn't as much hype and drama as with the Cup and NNS stuff. The drivers still come out and do autograph sessions for the fans. And, the competition is great!

Also, the television coverage has been awful. Some of the announcers just like the sound of their own voice and it doesn't seem to matter that they can't speak properly or conitnually say things that don't make any sense.

I actually find that I don't mind if I miss the race coverage and just catch the highlights. In previous years, I was always glued to my seat, flag-to-flag. Now, it just isn't as important to me.

Short tracks are boring, Indy sux, Talladega was good.

So-so year in my opinion.  The COT has not created the side by side action NASCAR hoped for, but I think this feud between Edwards & Busch should get pretty interesting.

I'm a Kyle fan, so this has been a great year.  I'm loving the Carl and Kyle rivalry, it's much better than the Kyle Jr thing.  Jr has proven to be a flash in the pan.  Jimmie will make a run, Jeff is too content in his personal life.  The Chase is going to be rough and tumble, and fun to watch.

Darlington was amazing

Daytona was good

Talladega was one of the best I've seen in years

Pocono was awesome

Indy is always a snooze fest so that didn't bother me that bad after I got over the tire thing.

If you like Hendrick or JR you're most likely bored because they stink this year.  

The road races were awesome.

I think its been a good year.
