Cleverley declares his disappointment over http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Darren-Fletcher-c10361’s health issues but will Manchester United be able to make do without him...
Manchester United’s young midfielder Thomas Cleverley has voiced his disappointment over the fact that Darren Fletcher might miss the rest of the English Premier League season for Manchester United after it was revealed that the
Scotsman would be taking a leave from professional football over concerns about his health condition.
Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson told the press earlier on in the week that Fletcher’s health had deteriorated in the last months due to his commitments towards football therefore the Scotsman had decided to take an indefinite leave. Fletcher’s
departure albeit a sad one has left United with problems of their own as well, already struggling in the midfield department, Sir Alex Ferguson’s club has been criticized for lacking a creative influence in the centre of the park.
Thomas Cleverley filled that gap earlier on in the season but the young playmaker has been sidelined due to an ankle injury of his own that he sustained against Bolton in the Premier League.
Cleverley stated in his latest address to the media, "I am gutted for Fletch'. I'm not too sure about what it is, but I'm afraid it is bad news for him and bad news for the team. He is a massive player for us and it is a shame,
because we are having a bit of a problem in centre-midfield. But we have got Giggsy, Ji, Carrick, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Darron-Gibson-c10368 still in the squad. So that's what squads are for."
He further added, "He is a fantastic pro. Growing up through the ranks, he is someone that has done the same journey that I have. So he is someone I have always looked up to." Sir Alex Ferguson will hope that Cleverley returns
to action sooner rather than later as United are set to face-off against Manchester City in the first two weeks of January in their F.A Cup tie. In the English Premier League, United are two points behind their neighbours in the pursuit for a record 20th
title win.
