Thomas Cleverley says his injury came at a bad time at Manchester United – English Premier League
Manchester United’s young midfielder who recently made his comeback from an ankle injury spoke to the media recently and stated that his injury came at a bad time for him at Manchester United. Cleverley has been one of the young
guns who has emerged at Old Trafford this season.
The young playmaker has instilled himself as a fan favourite at Manchester United through his consistent performances but despite having a brilliant start to the season, the Manchester United younger suffered a bad ankle injury
against Bolton Wanderers at the start of the Premier League season which saw him miss more than a month of Premier League action.
However, Cleverley recently made a comeback by playing in United’s 3-0 win over Aldershot in the Carling Cup, a match that followed up by the Red Devils’ win over http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019 at Goodison Park. Both the matches saw Cleverley in the

Speaking about his injury, Cleverley said, “The injury was bad timing. I was in the team; I was playing well and enjoying myself. These things happen in football though and you've just got to work hard on getting yourself fit,
listen to what the physios say and stay upbeat.”
The young midfielder also spoke about his development as a player this season with Manchester United. He stated, “It’s been brilliant. Things went a little better than I expected at the start of the season and then I was disappointed
to get injured, but I'm buzzing to be back now and hopefully we can get back to winning ways”. United will rest Cleverley for their mid-week UEFA Champions League tie against Otelul Galati but he is expected to be fit enough for their upcoming Premier League
encounter against Sunderland at Old Trafford on the weekend.
Cleverley will be crucial to United’s league title defence this season as he has shown that he can play against the big boys of the Premier League without losing his own sense of identity in the midfield department. Furthermore
his creative edge provides United will a well needed offensive drive in the final third of the field.
