Thomas Cup Finals: China cruises to victory against Indonesia in group stage
China made its intentions clear by overwhelming Indonesia in opening match of Thomas Cup Finals on Tuesday, May 22, 2012.

The Indonesian lad earned great deal of respect for his fighting spirit and walked tall despite of losing with final figures of 12-21 and 16-21.
Though, China emerged as champion with this win but both countries chose to go all the way to five games.
Men’s Doubles team Shen Ye-Hong Wei followed the success trail against the scratch pair Hendra Setiawan-Ryan Agung Saputra in fourth game of the match.
Though, the Indonesian pair matched their rival’s skills in hard fought three sets but still it was not enough to avoid a 2-1 defeat. They had to surrender after reading decisive margin of 21-16, 10-21 and 9-21.
The Men’s Singles Chinese expert Chen Jin was the person who wrote last chapter of this captivating saga.
World Number four shuttler did find any trouble against Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka as he wrapped the show with score-board flashing final total of 21-7 and 21-10 in his favour.
