Thomas Finchum - no body hair?

He has no body hair, right?

Does anyone know why he gets rid of it?

Did you notice that even swimmers have no body hair as well? They shave them to eliminate drag, plus who wants to see wet hairy chests? Eww..

I assume that while standing in nothing but a speedo, it's perhaps just more aesthetically pleasing. You can tell that all the divers are in great shape, but with the complete lack of hair on his body you can make out every line of every muscle.

Also, I'm glad you edited to explain that divers don't need the same kind of water resistance that swimmers do! Every time I would comment on lack of body hair someone would give me the same explanation.
