The Denmark international’s career at Volkswagen Arena looks highly uncertain.

The Dane started his career at Brondby and went on to make 97 league appearances for the club. He joined Auxerre from Brondby and established himself as an integral part of their starting line-up and appeared 130
times in the French league for the club.
Fine display in the Ligue 1 attracted interest from Wolfsburg, who snapped him up for 4 million Euros. However, Kahlenberg’s time at Die Wolfe was marred by serious injuries. He suffered a serious knee injury straight after joining
the club and missed around five to six months of football.
Considering his 38 appearances for Denmark, the midfielder has considerable amount of international experience.
The Dane’s career at the Volkswagen arena is somewhat turbulent; his below par performances forced his parent club to send him out on loan to Evian. His manager is certainly not convinced about his abilities.
Felix Magath insists that he has doubts about the attacking midfielders’ ability to play in a physical league such as Bundesliga. The tactician is understood to be looking to offload the former Auxerre playmaker.
"I'm very sceptical when it comes to Thomas, and I have my doubts about him being good enough for the Bundesliga where the style is more physical," the 58-year old Wolfsburg manager is quoted as saying in an interview.
The former Schalke manager reckons that the playmaker would be better suited to the French Ligue1 and his time at Evian showed that he has the qualities to succeed in France.
"His type of play would fit better in the French league, which we saw last spring when he had a good time at Evian,” he added.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Denmark-c2884 international insists that he had good season in France but he has not received any offers. He is calm about his situation and is understood to consider any offer that comes his way.
The midfielder revealed that St Etienne was interested in prising him away from the German side but their offer was not concrete enough.
"For the moment I don't have any offers on the table. It is true that St Etienne were interested, but nothing materialised," Kahlenberg is quoted as saying in an interview.
It would right for the midfielder to move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899, where he has played most of his football. His performances in the French league suggest that he is well suited to Ligue 1.
