The former Bayern Munich goalkeeper believes that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manuel-Neuer-c23424 will soon be overtaken by a host of upcoming keepers in the Bundesliga.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thomas-Kraft-c34971 believes that current Bayern Munich goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer, may be good, but isn’t the best. He feels that the 25-year-old will soon be overtaken by other talented shot stoppers coming through the ranks in German
football.
Kraft added that Neuer is currently the best keeper in the country, and deserves to play for one of the top European clubs. However, the Hertha http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Berlin-c7536 shot stopper reckons that there is a wealth of young goalkeepers coming through,
who will provide the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 number one with tough competition in the future for a place in the national team.
While talking to sports magazine, Kicker, Kraft further mentioned:
"It is undisputed that Neuer is excellent, a complete goalkeeper and is the number one [in Germany]. I don't yet see him as an absolute world-class goalkeeper. The others will improve and at some point will reach his level."
Neuer joined the Bavarian giants last year following a series of outstanding performances at his former club, Schalke. The shot stopper received plaudits for his outstanding form for Die Knappen and was given a chance to shine
at the international in the 2010 FIFA World Cup after an injury to Rene Adler prior to the start of the competition.
On the other hand, Kraft spent seven years at the Allianz-Arena before parting ways for a new venture at the capital club. Neuer’s arrival at Bayern prompted Kraft to tie knots with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hertha-BSC-c39521 where he has been a first team regular,
and is pleased with his current role at the new club.
"In Munich, I was always the kid who came from the youth ranks. In Berlin, I see myself as a leader in the team, a role which I enjoy," Kraft concluded.
The 23-year-old has so far started in every game this season for the capital club which is 11th on the league table. The shot stopper will next be in action against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FC-Nuremberg-c38162 on Saturday, January 21, at the easyCredit-Stadion.
