Thomas Muller confident of another good performance against Hoffenheim this week- Bundesliga news
Bayern Munich midfielder Thomas Muller stated that he is confident that the team will put in another brilliant performance against Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga this weekend. He claimed that Bayern were sensational against Manchester
City in the mid-week Champions League clash and is hopeful that the team continue the current form throughout the season.
Die Bayern are currently on a 10 match winning streak in all competitions since their loss to Borussia Monchengladbach in August on the opening day of the Bundesliga. The former European champions have not conceded a goal in the
last six games and have been mighty impressive in this campaign.
Muller claimed that the club has to take one game at a time and the focus has now shifted to the league game against Hoffenheim this weekend. He insisted that the players are delighted with the win against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Mancini’s side
and are well satisfied with the result but now have to prepare for the next match.
“First off we're heading to Hoffenheim at the weekend, and we need to win there as well. We won and kept a clean sheet again, even though Man City have a top-class forward line, if you read off the names. That's actually the best
aspect of the whole thing, and we're very satisfied,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The German international admitted that there is a strong possibility that Bayern will be able to keep another clean-sheet in the weekend’s clash against Hoffenheim as the form has been brilliant. However, the player added that
the defence will have to work hard as it will be a tough match at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena on Saturday.
“It's certainly a possibility; we're in very good shape at the back. But you have to take it a game at a time. If we keep defending as well as we have been, and Lady Luck stays on our side, we'll come away with another clean sheet,”
he concluded.
Bayern Munich currently lead the Bundesliga standings table with 18 points from the seven games played.
