Arsenal’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thomas-Vermaelen-c35002 believes that the Gunners can finish in the top four, should they maintain their form and pick up a series of good results.

The North London club are on a three game win streak and are now set to take on Newcastle United. Having closed down the gap on Tottenham down to four points, the team could see the gap reduce to one point, should they beat their opponents.
Given the way the Gunners have been playing, many believe the team can easily go on and beat their upcoming opponents.
However, Vermaelen is not getting cocky or over confident and instead of claiming the team to finish in the top three, he is still adamant that a top four finish is more likely.
The defender still feels that beating Newcastle will be crucial for the Gunners and any slip ups in the upcoming game could cause the team to suffer a massive step backwards.
The Belgian international is quoted to have said: "Newcastle are close behind us of course, but we have a few contenders there. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 are still there, Newcastle and Liverpool.”
"They [http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809] are 10 points behind now with a game in hand but they are all there and we have to be on the top of our game to fight for fourth and maybe third place, you never know. We can have a lot of confidence after this week with a lot of victories.”
"Of course, a club like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 belongs in the Champions League and we will try to achieve that for the club, for the fans, for ourselves, for everybody. If we play the way we did in that first half on Tuesday then I am not worried about it at all."
With the North London club looking to end their season on a high, it is going to be an interesting wait to see just how they approach their remaining games and whether they can claim the third spot or not.
