Thomas Vermaelen believes http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 rotation policy benefits the team – Premier League Update
Arsenal defender and Belgian international, Thomas Vermaelen has gone on to admit that Arsene Wenger’s rotation policy has really benefited him and the rest of the team.
The player went on to return to full fitness recently and has since then been a part of the Gunners rotation policy at the back. However, thanks to these constant changes, the team has stayed alert and have gone on to win eight of their last nine games.
When talking about this policy and the impact it has on the squad, Vermaelen is quoted to have said: “The boss has a lot of choices at the moment, and all of the centre-backs are fit which helps too”
“There’s a lot of competition and that can only be good for the team.”
“It’s good to be able to rest players when they need it, so I don’t think it’s a problem if we have to rotate because we train together all the time.

“We know each other’s qualities, so it doesn’t matter who plays on the day.”
Vermaelen then went on to admit that he has grown a lot as a player ever since he arrived at the Emirates. He believes his defending has gotten a whole lot better and that he is now able to read the game better than before.
“I’ve also learnt a lot about organisation and talking to the players in front of you, because if you can help them know where they should be as well, it makes your http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 easier too.”

“I think that’s what you learn when you get older.”
So far Wenger has been rotating the Gunners centre backs, with the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Johan-Djourou-c18779 all making appearances in the team.
Despite it initially being assumed that this changes might hamper the teams progress, it has actually gone on to help the defenders perform a whole lot better.
This is due to the fact that every time the defenders take to the pitch, they are looking to impress the manager in hopes of being given more opportunities in the starting eleven. This has gone on to minimize the number of defensive mix-ups that the Gunners
are used to performing and has given the team a whole new attitude and dimension to work with.
Should Arsenal continue to perform the way they have been, with all the players successfully being rotated, they could easily end the season with a trophy or two to their name.
