Arsenal defender and Belgian international Thomas Vermaelen has gone on to confirm that he is now net to make regular appearances in an Arsenal jersey, as he looks to get his career back on track.

There were a number of questions which were raised in regards to the defenders well being, as the twenty five year old Belgian was seen limping off the pitch last night in the eighty fourth minute. As a result, many believed that he was still not fit enough
to participate in regular games for Arsenal and hence ruling him out for the game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786.
However, that is not the case, as the player has confirmed that he is on top of his form and is looking sharper than he ever has in an Arsenal jersey.
The defender, when talking about his fitness and general well being is quoted to have said: “I feel great, I trained yesterday with the team and I felt good straight away so I felt confident for tonight.(against Bolton)
“Personally I don't believe in that [needing games to regain sharpness]. If I come back from injury after a long time I don't believe in coming back and getting rhythm.
“I think it is just in your head and a mental thing - if you are a football player you have to be there straight away. That's why I wanted to play today and I think it's good.
“It was a good game for us, we fought hard and it was a deserved win for us I think.”
Vermaelen hasn’t played a game for Arsenal since September 6th this season, but it seems like the player is now looking to make up for the damage that was done in his absence.
During the game against Bolton, the defender looked sharp, strong, positive and it seemed like he has the wish to go on and produce a brilliant performance for the team, in order to ensure a win for the North London team. However, most importantly, the defender
didn’t seem too keen on making childish mistakes and this is what is going to set him apart in the months to come.
All in all, getting Vermaelen back is like landing a new player for Arsenal.
