Thomson Celebration?

We are off next week on the thomson celebration with our 3 year old hyperactive daughter,is anyone put there kids into the play place there please?

  1. To be fair it was not the best one that we have experienced - tended to only be open for fairly short periods and not as wide a range of activities as we have seen on other cruise lines.


  2. Thomson is a very nice ship, but I have to agree it's not the best for kids.

    The kids lounge is pretty good and the girls who worked there when I was on another department were very nice, but the hours are bad.

    The kid's room is at deck 5 which is the same that holds Explorer's lounge, the shops, the shore-ex desk, the theathe, the Lido self service restaurant, the Casino, the pool and the internet room/library. Also the cinema.

    On port day I know they are open during the day and on sea days as well, but I don't remember them open in the evenings.

    Enjoy the cruise, even though it's not a first class first it's very cozy and the food used to be very good for ship's standards. The crew was very friendly too.

    If you bump into Sheeba, cocktail waitress, tell her that Denis from the Shops said Hi.
