Thongchai Jaidee and Jeev Milkha Singh will play in the Omega European Masters
OMEGA European Masters will be held from August 30 to September 2 this year. The two players that everyone is excited about are Thongchai Jaidee and Jeev Milkha Singh.
These two players belong to Asia and have their mark on the European Tour. These players have been on the golf scene for quite a while now and have gained an impressive fan base.
They will play in this year’s OMEGA European Masters and their fans are eager to see them in action against the top talent of the world.
For Thongchai Jaidee, this event is important because of its position on the European Tour. He has been underperforming in the past couple of tournaments. This will be his chance to show his form and wipe out the record of the bad patch he appears to be
going through.
In his recent appearance at US PGA Championship, he played a lacklustre game. He finished the event near the bottom of the leaderboard at the 96th place.
Similarly, in the highly anticipated Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open, he shot 278 points and stood 29th.
Thongchai Jaidee is a very seasoned player with 16 professional titles to his credit. A better portion of these titles came when he played on the Asian Tour. He was the first man to reach the 2 million mark. He also was the first person to reach the $3 million
mark on the Asian tour.
Jeev Milkha Singh is another player who has generated plenty of stir in the golf circles. Many fans eagerly await his appearance at this year’s European Masters. He has not fared well in recent tournaments.
In the PGA Open Championship, he shared the 69th place with a 10-over par score. This performance was repeated during the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, where he posted an 11-over par score. He tied for the 67th place.
For him, this tournament is a great opportunity of adding a great finish to his record. He already has 20 professional wins. His record will substantially improve with a top-three finish at the European Masters. To do this, he will have to play against the
top golf talent of both Europe and Asia.
