i wanted to wear a thong and im 13 but i dont no how to tell my mom i want to or something or tell her in the store lol idunno wht to say

They're just as much as regular underwear. In my opinion, you should only wear thongs if you need them, meaning you get panty lines if you wear regular underwear. So tell your mom that you're getting panty lines with your skirts or pants or whatever.

Price depends on where you buy them from.

Avoid the ones that are only elastic straps going down the back ~ not comfy.  Victoria Secret is pretty good.

Say, "Mom, I would like some undies that don't leave panty lines.  How about a thong."

I really don't see the big problem.

  I have the same thing lol! hear is the easiest way:

  Put on a pair on sweat pants that are tight around your booty so that you can see your panty lines. then go into your mums bathroom (when shes doin her hair and makeup) and be like, "mom, i'm sick of people being able to see my underwear through my pants!" One thing will lead to another in your conversation and it will eventually lead up to thongs.

just tell her that you need a thong for a certain pair of pants that are tight around the butt area and they show your panty lines. this way she'll see a need for a thong rather than just want.

I dont think you should...like I got my first thong when I was 12, and I totally regretted it because people thought I was a s**t, and it was very uncomfortable. You dont even need one, they have really good underwear at victorias secret that is bikini style, but the panty lines dont show because its seamless

Honestly I see no reason for a 13 year old to need a thong. You aren't a business woman who doesn't want panty lines to show- and if you just want them to be s**y, uh yeah you are too young.

They're the same price as other underwear if you buy them at the same store. Just tell your mom you have an underwear line, and she should understand :) I'm 14 and wear one, so I'm sure it'd be fine for you too.

Wow as a guy with sisters I don't understand the whole idea of dental floss up your butt.   I know why the models wear them..... so you can't see their panty lines on the runway.   Why the average girl wants them is beyond me.  

I say be comfortable .... epecially in the underwear department. & please please don't look like a tramp with it hanging out the top of your jeans.... you may as well have a bulls eye on your butt.

you can usually find them at victoria secrets, wet seal, and what not and the price usually varies but i get mine at charloutte rouuse (pardon my spelling) for a very cheaper price. once there was a get 10 for $5 deal. talk about dirt cheap!

The main purpose of a thong is so you don't have any panty lines visible.... so I would just explain to your mother that it's kind of embarrassing when your panty lines show.  I'm sure she will understand!  

I get my thongs at Wet Seal.  They look like the little cute ones from victoria's secret but their less expensive, they have this new deal now where you can get 5 for just 12 bucks!

be sure to explain to your mother that your not wearing thongs because you wanna follow the "in" crowd, [even if you do, dont tell her that, lol]  tell her you need them because somebody made fun of u at school bc ur panty lines were showing or something like that!

i don't really see a problem in wearing a thong just save your money and buy one without your mom and wash it by hand so she doesn't find it or just tell your mom it will improve your self esteem and panty lines make you self conscious and you get teased because of it and older guys hit on you they cost anywhere from $1.99 to $20.00
