Question:

Thoroughbred Tatoo Research?

Is there any way to research my horse's race history for free? I have all his papers, and do know his registered name and previous owners. I'm aware I can pay the jockey club $35-$50 to research, but I was wondering if there was any way to do it for free. I already know most of his pedigree, so I'm not really interested in that. Just his race history. Thanks!

  1. you can put his registered name into the search box at pedigreequery.com  It will probably have his information there.  When you first do your search his breeding will come up...  above the chart there will be his racing statistics (how many races and how many firsts, seconds, thirds).  If he ever ran in stakes races you can click on reports and go down to stakes races and it will give you a list of all the races he ran and the top 3 finishers.  Other than that you can just type his name into a yahoo search and see what comes up...  you might find old articles from different tracks about him winning there.  Good luck!

  2. Go to bloodhorse.com you should be able to search around on that site and find the information you want.
