Thoroughbreds????

There are a few racetracks on a stallion at my barn's race records that I cannot decipher. The only one I could was SUF, which I interpreted as Suffolk Downs, in Massachusetts (where I live). Under the column #Track, the following tracks I cannot figure out:

1RKM ft

2MED ft

5ATL ft (maybe atlanta????)

5GS ft

5PHA ft

9TAM ft (maybe Tampa, Gulfstream Park????)

4BEL ft (maybe Belmont???)

If anyone could tell me what the letters mean/represent (the numbers too, but mostly the letters, because I want to know which tracks this stallion has raced at).

  1. RKM - Rockingham Park (In New Hampshire. I think they may still run harness races there but they stopped running Thoroughbred races a few years ago.)

    MED - Meadowlands (New Jersey)

ATL - Atlantic City (New Jersey)

GS - Garden State Park (New Jersey, but closed now)

    PHA - Philadelphia Park (Pennsylvania)

TAM - Tampa Bay Downs (Florida)

BEL - Belmont Park (New York)

And SUF, as you guessed, is Suffolk Downs in Boston.

The number represents the race number of the race represented by that line in his past performances. For example, he ran in the first race at Rockingham on that day.

    Hope this helps!

  2. I think, I would have to see the actual program, but the number before the track name could be either the race number or his post number.

    PHA is Philly I believe

MED is Medowlawn or something like that

    BEL - Belmont

    TAM-0 Tampa Bay Downs

    GS is Gulfstream

    ATL Atlanta

    hope that helps

  3. MED is the Meadowlands.

    ATL is Atlantic City.

    PHA is Philadelphia Park.

    TAM is Tampa Bay Downs.

    BEL is Belmont.

I'm guessing that the numbers mean which race he raced in that day... or it could mean what place he came in.  I don't know what the rest of the info looks like.

Apologies... I couldn't figure out what RKM or GS were.

Here's a link to a schedule of live racing at all tracks, listed by their track codes: http://calendar.ntra.com/liveindustry.cf...

  4. See if this site helps.

I'm not sure what the numbers mean, but i did see all the tracks on the list.
