The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hamburger-SV-c39485 manager has urged his team to get back to winning ways and emerge with all three points in their next game against FC Kaiserslautern.
As Hamburg prepare for their all-important league tie against Kaiserslautern, manager Thorsten Fink has warned his players against complacency. Hamburg will travel to the Fritz-Walter-Stadion on Saturday, March 31, aiming for all
three points.
The Imtech Arena outfit has witnessed a significant drop in their form and are in danger of being demoted into the second division. Fink has already warned his players ahead of the game and threatens to drop a player who does not
give his hundred percent in this crucial fixture.
While talking to official Bundesliga website, Bundesliga.de, the tactician further added: "Anyone who doesn't pull their weight now, anyone who isn't prepared to go absolutely flat-out is no use to us. I'm keeping a very close
eye on the situation this week, and the players will know all about it.”
Fink specified that it is a huge game for Hamburg this season and claimed that a win would save his side from being relegated for the first time in the Bundesliga history. He also urged the club fans to come out in large numbers
to support as it is a ‘do-or-die’ game for the Red Shorts.
On the other hand, Hamburg defender http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dennis-Aogo-c10904 also agreed to his manager’s call and urged his teammates to fight till the end in order to ensure survival.
"Every player needs to understand that there's only one way out of this. And if one or other of us doesn't, then he'll have to accept the consequences... now we'll see who passes the test of character, and who's giving it all he's
got to battle through this difficult phase," Aogo concluded.
Hamburg have not been able to win any of their last five league fixtures and as a result find themselves 16th in the league standings with a total of 27 points from as many games played. Kaiserslautern, though, are rooted
at the bottom of the table and seven points behind their opponents.
