The Hamburger SV manager has expressed his disappointment after dropping points against Hoffenheim.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hamburger-SV-c39485 manager, Thorsten Fink, has expressed his disappointment after losing to Hoffenheim in the mid-week fixture. He was talking in the wake of his side’s 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Markus Babbel’s men on Wednesday, April
11, at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena.  Jannik Vestergaard, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sejad-Salihovic-c32849 and Sven Schipplock scored goals for the home side.
This loss means that the Red Shorts are still in the danger of being relegated at the end of the season and left with no other choice other than winning each of their remaining four fixtures in the Bundesliga. Hamburg have never
been relegated in their Bundesliga history and Fink desperately wishes to keep up with the hundred percent record by the season end.
The tactician admitted that his side played poorly throughout the 90 minutes and probably deserved to lose. He mused that this defeat has dented their survival hopes but still is hopeful of a recovery after such embarrassing loss.
Fink urged his side not to lose hope and concentrate harder on the remaining games.
While talking to reporters after the game, the boss further added: "This is a setback since we had shown recently that we knew what we needed to do in a relegation battle. We forgot all about that after a decent first 10 minutes
– that was too little. This was not a relegation fight and we even deserved to lose by such a margin."
On the other hand, the manager enthused that the Red Shorts are still in the top flight and nothing can be finalised until the last matchday. He also urged the fans to relax and come out in large numbers in the remaining games
to support their side who are surely down on morale while moving towards the business end of the competition.
"Life goes on. We have the next very important game on Saturday and we definitely want to and will present ourselves better in that game," the 44-year-old concluded.
Hamburg are currently 14th in the league standings with 31 points, two points clear of 16th placed FC Koln. Their next test will come against Hannover at home on Saturday, April 14.
