The Hamburg manager has stated that his side will play for a win against the Bavarian giants and have nothing to lose.
Rothosen will face Bayern Munich in this week’s Bundesliga fixture at Imtech Arena. The home side has recovered brilliantly after a dismal start to the season, under Fink, and will be looking to secure their sixth win of the season in the league.

He stated that the team has learned from the mistakes they committed in the last home game against Borussia Dortmund and will definitely come out with a plan.
“It was all about being able to put defeats behind you, but then desperately want to win again. But Bayern did not invent the notion of wanting to win games. We want to beat Bayern and then move into a safe, mid-table position,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The former Bayern Munich player admitted that the Munich based side will be the favourites to win the game but anything can happen in the course of 90 minutes. The manager added that he will take some inspiration from Borussia Monchengladbach, who defeated Bayern at Borussia Park with a comprehensive 3-1 margin.
“I think we have nothing to lose in this game. Bayern are favourites, but we also have a chance. We want to beat Bayern and I think it is possible to beat them now. Gladbach have already shown how it is done and often it comes down to motivation,” he concluded.
