Those anyone know if there are any huricane warnings for puerto vallarta, mexico for the following week?

Puerto Vallarta is on the west coast and it is very unusual to get hurricanes there this time of year

I live just south of Vallarta and we just had our 8th storm come up the coast this year.  Only one of 8 tuned into a hurricane and was out to sea.  Should be a busy year but nothing on the horizon.  Doesn't have to be a hurricane to have heavy winds and tons of rain

I have the Weather Underground set to Manzanillo but you should see anything headed towards Vallarta.  They come from the south

There should not be any hurricanes in that area. Me and my family have been there many times for vacations at resorts. in fact we are accualy booking flights to go there in august. its not really known for hurricanes but out of all the trips up there the closest its got to a hurricane was just a rain storm nothing big. so you should very much go. it is amazing there. have fun!

Most of the hurricanes that you read about happen in the Atlantic Ocean. Puerto Vallarta is on the Pacific Ocean.

There are hurricanes on the Pacific Ocean, but Puerto Vallarta has seen only two in the last 30 years (or is it 50 years) and the last one, in 2002, was only a storm surge that flooded a couple of streets. The hurricanes don't like Bandaras Bay, and bypass PV.
