Those knowledgeable in the paranormal: What are your thoughts on Sylvia Browne?

Question

This isn't a question for her followers/fans/believers but for the unbiased (relatively) knowledgeable people in this subject area. Rather you be a medium, or have studied about this field--what is your opinion of this "psychic"? Is she for real or is she a big phony with her $500 an hour scam?

I have also seen her on Montel, and I don't believe her.   I'm not sure if any of you have seen Montel jump in and save her when people ask certain questions. She's a complete fraud!

From an unbiased scientific perspective nothing is known about her psychic abilities. She has never participated in scientific research and her total (or a representative sample of) psychic predictions or readings have never been analyzed to see if her information is above, below, or at chance.

So is she a phony or are her abilities for real is undetermined.
