Those of you in club or travel volleyball?

how many days a week did/do you have practices?

last year we had practice one day a week. this year we practiced anywhere from two to three days a week.

usually 2 times a week for about 2 1/2 hours each practice

we dont practice only play on sundays and its the dumbest thing I have ever heard of in my life! We havent played at all in 3 weeks due to prom band trip and choir trip and it really sucks not having a practice! so I try to set up a practice during the week but since im not the coach only 2 0r 3 girls show up. like once a week with a tournament about every weekend. it seemed to work too because we got second at regionals by 2 points.

but now I'm doing on my own one practice and bicycling once or twice....depends on the weather

Well, for city league last year we practiced on sundays, but for nationals we practice 3 (somtimes 4) days a week.

it depends on the level you play, really. With my club, the higher skill and the farther you travel, the more court time you get, therefore you have more practices.

for club, we have practices for two hours on Mondays and Saturdays. on tournament weeks, we have practice on Wednesday.

for school we have practice for two hours every weekday unless we have a game, usually Tuesday and Thursday for games.
